NANOMEDICINE COURSE ROME 2018 school on Tools and Methods in Nanomedicine, 18-20 June 2018.
The conference will take place at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) in Aula Pocchiari
The main entrance of the ISS is located in Viale Regina Elena, 299, Rome, in front of the Città Universitaria “Sapienza”. Secondary entrances are placed in Via del Castro Laurenziano, 10 and 25, and in Piazzale Valerio Massimo, 5.
Nordtest e Nanolane will take part to Nanomedicine Course Rome 2018 from 18th till 20th June in Roma at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), located in Viale Regina Elena, 299, in front of Città Universitaria “Sapienza” in Rome.
Monday 18th June at 12:40 Dr. Nicolas Medard (Nanolane) will present the SEEC (Surface Enhanced Ellipsometric Contrast) technology during his lecture “SEEC Microscopy: a live and label-free analysis technique in the fields of materials and life sciences”.

N-Lab Station is a powerful instrument which combines live surface interactions and topographic characterization.
It is a revolutionary analytical system, based on SEEC technique, which is a label free quantitative imaging technique for imaging, surface interactions studies and topographic analysis at the nanoscale.
The underlying idea is that, for infinitesimal amounts of material assuming the shape of nano-objects or nanofilms to become optically detectable, one should get rid of the light reflected off of the substrate surface that, otherwise, would mask what little reflected light comes from the nanometre scale sample.
SEEC Microscopy is the only technique to provide the visualization and the mapping of nanometric samples in air and in water:
- in real-time
- without any labeling
- with a sub-micrometric lateral resolution (<300nm)
