AD System TO10 for determination of thermal stability JFTOT according to method ASTM D3241, IP323, ISO 6249, ASTM D1655, D7666, DEF STAN 91-091.
TO10 is completely automatic and user interface is simple and intuitive; is equipped with an indipendent temperature control system that does not need liquid cooling. Furthermore it ensures the best operator security features, a cover closure and fume extraction system.
The new TO10 enhance its features when used in combination with the deposit rater DR10 that can be connected via ethernet cable for a rapid data transfer from and to the onboard software.
The DR10 is a ITR based analyzer for automatic determination of the JFTOT test tube deposit rating, it enables the determination of the deposit and ensures traceability of each single test using the automatic data saving of test result and tube serial number: furthermore DR10 improve the analysis time infact it needs only 15 minutes for a complete tube scan and determination without operator attendance.
The AD System DR10 is the only instrument marketed conform to both method ASTM D3241 and ASTM D1655.
AD SYSTEMS DEPOSIT RATER DR10 THERMAL OXYDATION STABILITY OF TUBINES FUELS
The Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Test is universally used by the industry to measure high temperature stability of aviation turbine fuels. The ASTM D3241 is required to be run on every batch of Jet Fuel produced according to ASTM D1655 or DEF STAN 91-91 specifications. In this test method the fuel is pumped through heater tube at fixed flow rate and during a specified period of time. The fuel is pass or fail rated according to the amount of deposit formed on the heater tube at specified temperature.
Traditionally the amount of deposit on the tube is rated visually by the operator against reference color scale. The proper rating requires significant experience and expertise.
